I was honored to be able to read a new cozy mystery by Christine Wenger. The book is Do or Diner, the first in the Comfort Food Mystery series.
The series is about Trixie Matkowski, a woman trying to deal with emotions after a divorce. She goes to Sandy Harbor, NY and decides o buy her aunt's diner and guest cottages, when her widowed aunt decides to travel. From the beginning, it seems that nothing goes Trixie's way. When the health inspector dies in her kitchen, things look really bad for Trixie. With the help of hunky deputy sheriff, Ty Brisco, Trixie starts to piece together the murder.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were very likable, and the story was smooth. Definitely a book worth reading!
